In Halifax, there is a place few know of. As the glasses clink and the crowd murmurs, one may catch a spontaneous piano solo by an owner of this secretive bar. Dimly lit, a typewriter sits stoically by the door. The bookshelf unattached to the foundations of what is normal, a poker table inconspicuously placed waiting for whispers and bets. The bartenders mix drinks with rose water spritz and hand chipped ice. Amidst all this, dancers glance around the room, ready to begin.
